The process of humidification with the dehumidification process has a difference in the direction of its flow. It all depends on how to set the existing valve. The incoming gas flowing in the orifice tube has a certain press. The difference between the humidification process and dehumidification is as follows:
Humidification process, is a process that can increase the water content in the gas. In the process there are two ways that is with heating and without heating. The flow direction of the two processes is different depending on how we can adjust the valve opening. In this process, the gas is contacted with water in a flask in a counter-current where water flows from above and gas / air passes up from below, with a certain circulating water flow rate. Data taken from this experiment are, water temperature in the flask, inlet gas temperature (Tdin and Twin), exit gas temperature (Tdout and Twout), and pressure difference in the flask.
The dehumidification process, which is the process of reducing the moisture content in the gas, similar to the humidification process has two way processes, ie by heating and without heating. All of them depend on how to set the existing valve. In this process, the gas is passed to a column in which there is an absorbent and also by increasing the pressure. Data taken in this experiment, such as, incoming gas temperature (Tdin and Twin), exit gas temperature (Tdout and Twout), pressure difference in column (DP), and outlet temperature (S, B, C, and D) attached to the column.
