The Io Moth Caterpillar
Io Moth Caterpillar develops, its color changes from orange to bright green with red lines and white stripes along its body. This creature, which measures two inches in size, tends to travel on its own in search of food, while the caterpillar's young caterpillar is in its group. Two types of poisons released from their backs, those with little touch, have a very strong shock, the sensation is burning and inflammation. They like to eat lots of trees and shrubs including willow, maple, elm, oak, holly, aspen, grasshopper, cherry, pear and sassafras. These caterpillar species can be found in woody wood, grasslands and corn fields from February to September.
