My #wednesdaywalk @tattoodjay
A few of my walk pictures are from a trip to the Pumpkin Patch over the weekend. As the weather grows colder my time outdoors is going to become much more limited!
This guy just wanted to start off the walk by saying hello to @erikah. I know how much she enjoys squirrels!
These scary ghosts showed up recently, all ready for Halloween.
And a few photos from the Pumpkin Patch. The grandkids all had fun picking out their pumpkins.
This is the one that they picked out for on my front porch. It will get turned into pumpkin pie after Halloween.

Photography is a beautiful art and a photographer , a beautiful artist!
You are great photographer.
That is so sweet of you to say! I am truly glad that you like my photos.
Thanks my dear friend and I really liked
I'm looking forward to announcing tomorrow's contest!
Lovely pictures!!! :-D
Thank you!
Wow, what I like best is the pumpkin and corn that has the meaning. In Aceh, nothing has happened yet.
That type of corn is usually referred to as Indian corn, because it was cultivated by Native Americans in the 1400s. Many different kinds of pumpkins are grown here, but those orange ones are the ones that typically are used on Halloween for jack-o'-lanterns.
That's right, you said a lot, I saw people posting about orange pumpkin and monster faces ... many people celebrated it.

Looks like a very nice pumpkin. When my kids were little we always carved a pumpkin or two. Then I remember eating pumpkin seeds while giving out candy at the front door. We always roasted some seeds and my wife usually walked the neighborhood with the kids.
Good traditions! Will you have trick or treaters at your door this year?
There are always a few. We live on a short cul-de-sac and don't get many.
Such a cool walk very seasonal and fun
Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk tip!
she is very creative too.
What a nice thing to say! Any creativity I have has been learned from all of you here!
I'm worried about what I will do to join in once winter arrives in full force. Maybe I can walk around inside my house taking photos through each window and say this is what it looks like this week!😂
I am a bit worried about that as well, I may do some walks in Malls of grand central and places like that LOL
Since my scooter won't go on ice and snow I may have to resort to the archives for walks from days past!
That works for me as well, do whatever is best for you :)

very creative walk, excellent pictures with your amazing skills. the color arrangement and the beautiful photographs are what makes me so happy seeing it.
Always love your photography. God bless your work.
Wonderful pumpkins! Beautiful autumn photos. I see how everything is ready for Halloween in this Park :). Nice walk, @melinda010100
Thanks, my friend! I appreciate the comment as it is the best kind a reminder that it's been awhile since I've been over to look at your blog!
Lovely photos, Melinda. The pumpkin is perfect for carving. Have you decided what model?
My hands don't work well enough these days to manage pumpkin carving with a sharp knife! This guy will get baked in the oven and become pumpkin pie, which is a favorite of everyone around my house. My daughter-in-law is already counting the days until Thanksgiving and she can eat pumpkin pie again. It was a new discovery for her last year and she realized how much she loves it.
Hmmm... Pumpkin pies are so delicious. I like adding some cinnamon as I love it taste and scent.
I discovered these pies recently and I keep baking during the Fall. I also keep some pumpkin in the refrigerator. My daughter loves it too and I must have it all the time.
Regarding the carving, this is my husband's task as I am kind of clumsy. Plus, he is the artist of the family so... He and my son are butchering pumpkins every year promising that next one will be prettier. 😂
I have certainly carved my share of pumpkins over the years. And I'm pretty okay with not doing one this year!
They sell a spice mix in the grocery stores that is simply called Pumpkin Pie spice. It is cinnamon, cloves, ginger, nutmeg and allspice. But I like savory pumpkin, too, with cheese, onions, peppers and sage and rosemary. And I'm making myself hungry and that poor pumpkin might have trouble making it until Halloween if I don't stop!
Tell me about it. It's past midnight here and I'm looking at that pumpkin with a watery mouth. I'm not sure it will make it until the morning. 😂
You are as bad as me with staying up too late so that you can hang out here! Go get some sleep!
very interesting
Thanks!
Low how big a deal Halloween is in North America.
Any excuse for a party, right?
Yes . Or any excuse to sell things to the people if your more cynical.
I am. I think you nailed it!
excellent photography had never seen such a colorful cob, the pumpkin is great
That is the type of corn that was cultivated by Native Americans in the 1400s. It is usually referred to as Indian corn.
A nice variety of shots from you Wednesday Walk @melinda010100. It sounds like you had good fun with the grandkids. 😁
Thanks! It's always fun when they are here!
Yay, what a little cutie!!! Thank you so much Melinda for thinking of me! Say hello to them from me 😊
I think he likes having a distant friend who admires squirrels! 😊
Little cutie! I'd love to sit down and secretary watch them playing, eating, having fun 😊
You wouldn't have to be very secretive! If they think you have food they will practically come to your feet.
Yay, I'd love that very much! I guess I'd be capable of photographing them all day, every day. 🐿️
We always want what we can't have.
You can come and sit on my back porch and take squirrel pictures all day, anytime you want to!
I'd love to, you know that. Can you imagine how much fun we could have? 😁 OMG!!! You would laugh about my accent and spoken English 😇
Ya todo listo para Halloween que hermoso todo amigo espero sus nietos reciban muchas golosinas la noche de Halloween saludos
Muchas Gracias!
"Squirrel!"
I really like the corn and mini-pumpkin photos. Those are very much autumn photos in this part of the world.
Pie, eh? Did you get any to carve? That gets mroe dangerous every year, carving pumpkins, but it's so much fun! I usually pick out the ugliest pumpkin possible, with warty bumps or a strange deformation. They make the coolest jack-o-lanterns!
No, this one is going to have to be pie. My hands don't work well enough these days to manage carving a pumpkin with a sharp knife !
I think those little pumpkins, are actually a variety of squash called Jester. And I only know that because I got a couple of them in my CSA box 2 weeks ago along with the recipe telling me how to cook them. They were very delicious.
Interesting. I hadn't thought about eating those mini pumpkin-squashy things.
I like the flavor better than acorn squash. Which reminds me I've got two butternuts sitting here on the counter that need to be cooked soon!
hehehe seems halloween is closeeeee... uhhhhhh !!!! :D hahahah
A week from today! Do you have your costume ready?
🎃
of course! i just need a pijama!! :D ahhahaha
Love the squirrel on the chunky barked tree.
Gotta luv the ghosts, which reminds me I forgot I meant to work on a scarecrowess for my front yard. Maybe Saturday. :)
Your shot of the Indian Corn came out really great.
I feel like I should know what kind of tree that is, but I'm having a hard time remembering.
Can't wait to see your scarecrowess!
That is one adorable squirrel; perfect moment Melinda. She is looking right at you. I see you are ready for Halloween too. Well, it is around the corner 🍁🎃🍁
Wow ... beautiful squirrels, I really want to get a photo of a squirrel for photography but I haven't had a chance to find it
😍🐿😍
They are very common here... I can look out the window and see 3 or 4 almost anytime of the day. Good luck finding one to take a photo of. Do they look the same as mine?
Squirrels in my place are different from squirrels in your photos @melinda010100
I hope you get a photo so I can see them!
Okay ..., I will try to get it
haha! another great post melinda010100! this is a great time of year with all the colors and flavors of the season, I can't really get enough pumpkin pie either!
Thanks! I have really enjoyed doing this Wednesday Walk challenge all summer long. It has encouraged me to get outside and take some pictures around the neighborhood. And actually giving me an excuse a few times to meet a few neighbors that I had never talked to before. I'm not sure what I'm going to do now that the weather is getting cold. My scooter doesn't do well on snow and ice and I truly detest the cold. I would imagine my photos will be either through the windows or I'll have to resort to the archives.
Well if it wasn't so cold maybe you could have someone with you to push the scooter if it the surface got slick but that cold is brutal up there.
I think I need chains for the tires! But no, I'd rather use poor traction as an excuse to not have to go outside.
lol. I don't blame you. Do the Packers still have that outdoor stadium? I forget the name of it. lol. it's crazy. but fun to watch on tv.
Lambeau Field. Of course they do!
that's right. yeah Lambeau Field. oh that's great, love it!
Love the autumnal colours

Excellent photos, don't you just love autumn? I love the sign in the pumpkin patch, and also the corn... very well done! resteemed :)
Thanks so much oh, did c-squared find you? I nominated your ducks. I must come look to see if you got a curation from them!
Yes, they did, thank you for the nomination. I never know how any of this works - so I see you were behind it! Thank you :)
Hopefully you will get comments from some of their members. They are all about engagement!
Your post was mentioned in the Steemit Hit Parade in the following category:Congratulations @melinda010100!
Thanks so much for the mention! It's great to be in the Hit Parade!
I keep coming back to watch this little guy 🐿️❤️
Hahaha! I'm so glad you like him! They are fascinating to watch. Especially the young ones. They are so playful.
I meant what I said earlier. If I would go visit you and get to sit on your deck, if these guys would be there, I guess I would be impolite for a while by paying attention to them 😄
I'd be used to it! It's what my daughter does when she is here. The chipmunks have been busy this past week collecting fallen leaves and taking them down into their holes to create warm little bedrooms for the winter. It's been fun to watch them being so busy. The squirrels are busy burying acorns in every single available spot including the flower pots that are still out on my deck. I hate to tell them but most of those pots are going to get put in the garage for the winter!
Looks like the back of your house is a huge playground for both humans and animals 😄
Poor thing, you're going to take away their savings 😁
They bury so many they never find them all and in the spring time there are baby oak trees growing everywhere! I'm off to bed. See you tomorrow!
