Young lions will spend a lot of time playing and practicing defending, just before the age of 1 year they will be trained to hunt prey like an adult lion.
At the age of 2 years the lion will mature sex, the male will begin to look grown mane. This maneuver that causes them to be expelled from the group and the toughness of this young lion will determine whether or not they make and control a new group, while the lioness will remain incorporated in the group even though it is known there are living alone.
Now I have seen a lot of funny stuff in my lifetime, but that picture made me shoot my drink out of my nose! He's like "c'mon lets go for a ride!" lol
