The Balu (বাংলা:বালু নদী) is a small river in Dhaka region of Bangladesh. This river flows within Dhaka (Demra, Khilgaon, Beraid,Purbachal) & Narayanganj (Rupganj) districts meeting the Shitalakshya near Tarabo, Rupganj. In the opposite direction it meets the Turag river near Purbachal.It is one of the main rivers in Dhaka.
