The same thing with other planets on earth also has satellites. One of Earth's satellites is the moon. The moon is the only natural satellite possessed by the earth. When viewed from its size, the moon is a natural satellite that ranks the fifth largest of the natural satellites found in the solar system.
The word moon is commonly known as the Moon derived from a mone that develops from the word moone. The word moone comes from the English word in ancient mona. In modern English, the name of the moon is known as luna or lunar.
When looking from the direction of the earth the moon looks to have a bright light. But in fact not, because if investigated further the moon actually does not have its own light, the visible light of the moon is a reflection of the sunlight emitted by the moon itself.
