An influential group of investors, commanding Mark Zuckerberg to resign from his post. This call comes as the Facebook boss is scheduled to testify at the Energy and Commerce Committee.
Zuckerberg's testimony shows he does not understand how big companies run.
Zuckerberg should legowo to withdraw from one of his posts. Currently, Zuckerberg serves as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Facebook.
"It's time he stepped back from one of his posts, if he did not want to give it up," he continued.
Despite not having Facebook shares, Open MIC is known for often coordinating Facebook investors to ask for more responsible behavior from the company.
Open MIC is not the only one who put pressure on Zuckerberg. Last week, New York City financial superintendent Scott Stringer called for a similar change in the Facebook board
We think there needs to be more board oversight. We think there needs to be an independent council chairman.
Meanwhile, Zuckerberg firmly refused to give up control of the company. Speaking to The Atlantic, he did not consider resigning for believing he could solve the problem.
