They are not pigs, they are not ant eaters, they are Tapirs. A confusing structure and shape, researchers call them they are not evolved or unchanged for millions of years. Their nose reminds a growing elephant trunk, their body resembles a pig, the total shape is about to compare with ant eaters.

The four tapir species present now on earth are most closely related to horses and rhinos... a complete puzzle type animal.

The mini trunk is not an ornamental fitting, they use it to grasp things, fruits, leaves and branches.Experts saying that these animals have stayed with some little changes around for 20 million years.

They are interested in spending time in water by eating aquatic plants. They use their nose as a snorkel. They are also good browsers and grazers.

The height varies from 2.5 feet to 3.5 feet and length 4.2 feet to 8 feet,Weighs from 242 to 700 pounds according to species.
