Jamu jun is made from a mixture of water, rice flour, glutinous rice, coconut milk, sugar Java, sugar, pandan leaves, and 18 types of spices called sariwangi batanget.
Spices include ginger, lemongrass, pepper, and cinnamon.
Usually when served, jamu jun plus pepper powder, selo (white powder from herbal ingredients), and small brown balls called krasikan.
These balls are made from grated coconut, ginger, brown sugar, and sticky rice flour.
But very unfortunate, now seller Jamu Jun has been rare, not even a few native people who have never enjoyed Semarang.
Because people now prefer food that is almost instantaneous though in terms of health is less supportive, even rarely contain preservatives that endanger the soul.
