Imam Ibnul Qayyim rahimahullah said in Zadul Ma'ad V / 88-89, "The consequence of this provision is that the grown-up girl should not be forced to marry except by her consent. This is the opinion of jumhur salaf, madzhab Abu Hanifah and Ahmad in one of his history. This opinion is what we believe in the truth of Allah Subhanahu waTa'ala, we do not hold it anymore. This opinion is consistent with the law of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), his orders and prohibitions, in accordance with the rules of the Shari'a and the benefits of the people. "
If the guardian forced her to marry her with whom she dislikes, she has the right to appeal the cancellation case to the authorities.
Imam Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah narrated from Ibn Abbas radiyallaah 'anhu that a virgin girl came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), he told her that his father was marrying him while he did not like, then the Prophet (peace be upon him) had chosen him. Shaykh Shuaib and Abdul Qadir al-Arnauth in Tahqiq Zad al-Ma'ad said,
