Many months ago, exploring cyberspace in search of artistic images, I came across Arizona Tea, a refreshing beverage produced by an American company. And what caught my attention was not the diversity of flavors, but the design of the bottle, a water green background color with a decorative plant with pink flowers.
In those days I wanted to make a drawing that captured the delicate and dangerous, but the work did not turn out as I expected, so I forgot; However, at the beginning of the year (2019) I saw again the bottle of Arizona Tea and, a little more inspired, it occurred to me to incorporate a reptile as that threatening element creating the contrast between the colorful and delicate flowers with the monochromatic and dangerous snake.
For this work I used watercolor and markers to delineate the body of the snake.

Long time ago I bought all their flavors just because of the bottle. I'm not such a fan of these drinks so didn't like them very much but I still own the bottles. How cool that this design was your inspiration!
I like to see the progress photos of your painting. You chose very nice vibrant colors. They make the snake pop up in front of the painting. I also like the pattern that you used for your snake and that you kept it quite simple.

Inspiration always comes from anywhere, and unexpectedly comes from a bottle
But it might look awful if the design is applied to a bottle.
No doubt, if applied to the insurance bottle, it would be terrifying.
This is actually my first time hearing of the tea but it does have a really beautiful design on the bottle. I bet that design alone can make someone get a bottle. Lol...
Drawing a snake surrounded by beautiful and delicate flowers is quite interesting. I love how the colors you chose for the flower made the snake pop and that you didn't choose a really loud color or pattern for the snake. The snake just kinda sits in nicely with the flowers... Great concept, amazing painting!
Hi @audreybits Thank you 😍. I haven't tried this refreshing drink either, but I've heard that many people buy it just to collect the bottle. I wanted to look for that contrast between the snake and the flowers, but that none of these would overshadow the other.
The company branded their drink really well, no wonder everyone keeps going for the bottle...😃
