Pinball Stories: How to gang up on an arcade that has a broken Star Wars pinball machine.

I have no idea why this Star Wars Episode 1 pinball machine has been sitting in the back corner of this arcade.

I found it months ago and I've wanted to use the extra button ever since.

This pinball machine seems to require a player card. Hey everyone, call them and tell them that the pinball machine is broken and they are missing out on massive profits.

(Don't tell them what I look like!)

The arcade actually seems pretty cool. They have hourly specials on various weekdays. Their other discount promotions look fun. Be nice and try not to sound as sarcastic as you think I would be. They could have an awesome arcade if there was pinball.

Outdated Pinside.com

Yep, another outdated pinball location. Pinside.com is probably a good place to start if your ready for an adventure, but be prepared for disappointment. Expect to spend most of your money on coffee and donuts. In addition to Pinside.com look for bowling alleys and pizza places. Be sure to call ahead and ask if there is a pinball machine. A resurgence is growing.

As you can see in the Pinside.com screen shot above, the last update was in 2012. Two of those machines are gone, but it's reassuring to see that one of the same pinball machines are still here. I'm starting to think someone in this arcade cares.

This Location:

This Star Wars Episode 1 pinball machine's location is in another bowling alley's arcade. This arcade is big and probably lots of fun. It would be better with a functioning pinball machine. They have space.

I've already called once to complain about their unused machine.

This situation has dragged on long enough and it's time to call again. I think it could be one small victory with a healthy ripple effect for pinballers like us.

Life happens and like our pinball seeking neighbor @zingali says, "You can't rush things, bro..."

Delays happen and life has changing priorities. Even just creating this post, I've experienced delays. Vacation is my most awesome excuse and I am grateful for it. I thought about pinball while I was away, but I didn't try very hard to get a pinball fix or even investigate. It was nice to get away.

Thanks to my dart throwing skills, I made some wonderful connections. I'm sure my new friends would be willing to help me locate a pinball machine or two the next time I'm in their hood.
