The story of the existence of giant creatures so far has only been regarded as mere fairy tales. They are nothing more than unrealistic mythological figures.
But what if there is a site that proves that a giant human existed? Like the site found in Aceh Selatan.
Above a rock overlooking the Aceh sea there is a giant footprint that is unknown where it came from.
These giant footprints are precisely located in Tapaktuan, a sub-district level city in South Aceh Regency. Tapaktuan suddenly became popular after the giant footprint site photos circulating on Instagram. In photographs circulating in cyberspace, the footprint size is very large.
According to some sources, Tapaktuan is indeed an area that is known to have a lot of interesting history wrapped in folk legends. His name is also inseparable from the legend of Mr. Tapa with two giant dragons.
Narrated in ancient times there lived a powerful hermit named Shaykh Tuan Tapa who was very obedient to God. In this story there are two different versions.
Some people believe that this Tuan Tapa has a giant body. While others believe, he is a normal human being with normal size but has the power to turn himself into a giant.
One day there were two giant dragons from China found a baby girl drifting in the middle of the sea, they took care of it until adulthood.
Then the baby parents who happened to be kings of the Asralanoka kingdom learned that his daughter was still alive and was in the hands of two giant dragons. Then they asked for his daughter's return which was then rejected by the dragon. They finally took the princess away and enraged the dragon.
They chased each other in the middle of the sea until they reached the hermitage of Mr Tapa. Feeling disturbed, Mr. Tapa got up from meditation and jumped from the mountain to the beach cliff.
The current footprint is believed to be the footprint of Mr. Tapa when he threw himself from the mountain.
Long story short, Mr Tapa can defeat two giant dragons and the princess returns to the arms of her family. And they finally did not return to the kingdom, but settled in Aceh.
This giant footprint later became a tourist attraction visited by many local and foreign tourists.
It is said that this place is considered sacred by local residents. Believe it or not, during the devastating tsunami of 2004, the Tapaktuan area was not too destroyed because the waves were blocked and 'split' by the reef where the footprints were.
