It had been a great day until a traffic accident happened...
My family went out of the city for a walk with our baby.
It was a great sunny day, we had great time and were going home.
We always follow all traffic laws because it's not a question of a choice, it's just must be done by all drivers for the safety of themselves and other drivers in the road. But not all people think the same...
So we were going home, my baby and me were sitting in the back seat, and suddenly I saw through the side window that a huge car was losing control just near our car!! It was moving from one side to another, the driver was turning the rudder to the left anf to the right....
it was so fast...just a few seconds, but I was about to lose my mind from fear and panic! I realized that something terrible could happen just the next moment... my heart stopped beating...I couldn't breath... my eyes were starring at that huge car... and then... BOOM...I felt an impact! Collision!
I didn't understand anything at all, but I was so happy! It wasn't strong! That huge car stopped moving, we had to stop as well, I realized our was damaged but I was so happy that we all were ok... tears poured out of my eyes...
I couldn't stop hug and kiss my baby...thanks God he was ok, and he didn't understand the risk we had...
Then a circus began...
Our car was damaged. A deep dent.
His car was not, just a scratch. It was an old and rusty car, but it was much bigger, and the detail that hurted us was rather solid.
It was obviously that that driver was wrong. He violated the rules.
He left the turn at high speed, the sun shone in the windshield, and the speed prevented him from braking in time and avoiding the blow.
He began to deny everything and convince us that it was our fault! Moreover! He began to frighten us with his acquaintances in the road police who would protect him in any case, so we should not waste time on investigations, we just had to leave and not demand anything from him!
We were shocked! He was so self-confident, cynical and impudent!
He saw that there was a child in the car, but that did not bother him either. He did not even apologize! He behaved insolently and rudely!
We were not going to give in to him, and after such behavior, it would be quite stupid.
We were not afraid of his threats and called the police.
We had our trump card - a videoregistrator. He did not have it. We immediately saw the record - we were right, he broke the rules!
We were waiting the police for more than 4 hours. During this time, a lot of his friends came to the scene, they behaved as brazenly and rudely as he did. But we were waiting for our victory.
And yes !!! We got it!
When the police arrived, they immediately saw the recording of the videoregistrator and acknowledged his guilt! 100%!
it's a pity you can not see his face !! Shock, panic, shame ...
He had to fully pay for the repair of our car. The police made up a record, he could not argue and refuse.
** And he did it. Full reparation**! We won! Perfect taste of victory!
And the main thing wasn't money, but the fact that he was shown his place after all self-confident tricks!
In the end he tried to be friendly and sweet, but no - we do not need SUCH friends.
Let this be his lesson.
And glory to heaven, that this day ended just with a dent in the car, and the danger passed us by....
Thank God you are all three okay! Drivers are always so mean and irrational when they know they made a mistake.

Glad you made it. Looks like your dash cam (videoregister) saved you from arguing with anybody. Hard to say what would have happened without this trustworthy witness.
What type of videoregister have you used? And would you get the same again or something with different features next time you choose?
