I'm pretty sure you did get in on the first round. It was a small amount so your votes are small but this all adds up over time. The nice thing is you can cash out your shares down the road (10% management fee at that time) and walk away with the profit, your investment, and having gotten all those votes in the mean time. Don't think anyone else offers something that strong in a vote program.
