Deranged Photo Contest. Theme: 'Reflections,'
AMATEUR TIER.
I've had fun going through my archives to find suitable images to submit for this weeks contest by @derangedvisions. After putting a few photos aside, I then found it difficult to pick the one I liked best, but in the end, my Golden Reflections capture was my first choice. I have included other images rather randomly to show the variety of surfaces where reflections are evident.
The first one is titled, 'Golden Reflections.' It was captured at Woody Point on the Redcliffe Peninsula in Queensland, Australia. The setting sun cast Golden Reflections across the sea, leaving a lasting impression.
Twin Mirror Reflections.
A variety of items in the original Butter Factory in Bellingen, New south Wales retail store were clearly reflected in these two round mirrors.
Eastern Water Dragon.
The body of this irate Eastern Water dragon was reflected in the shallow waters of a pond. He wasn't too happy about me taking his photo; hence the frown!
Global Reflections.
The windows from the ship, 'Radiance of the Seas,' were reflected on the shiny surface of this large globe situated in the Oh, so elegant and plush Schooner Bar.
Brass Statue.
Arched walls in a Cathedral were reflected in the middle of this awesome brass statue. So ornate!
Wine Shop Reflections.
The reflection of a customer paying for his wine after a tantalizing wine tasting session in the Barossa Valley, south Australia blends in with the rural scene in the background which is also reflected in the large glass cabinet. Check out the size of that monster bottle of wine.
Wedding Chapel Reflections.
The tiles of the floor in this wedding chapel are so glossy, the furniture is clearly reflected across the surface.
City Lights.
Bright city lights created an amazing show across the Brisbane river in Queensland, Australia. Different coloured lights are used for specific occasions.
THANK YOU FOR VIEWING. HAVE A GREAT DAY.
Thanks you @pixresteemer. 💐
I like the water dragon the most👍
Thank you @j85063 for your comment.
All photos are wonderful, but the first one stands out. Good luck with the contest!
Thank you Neli
I'm glad to see you again. You have a collection of different photos that are excellent examples for this contest. I wish you a peaceful holiday!
Thank you @bluemoon for your comments and support.
My pleasure!
Lovely photos!! Your collection reflects that you do a lot of traveling!!
Yes I have been fortunate to do a bit of travel from time to time. I can't wait to be able to get out again. Thanks for your comments.
Yeah! I am getting bored of house arrest after a month!
Hope those in authority know to get things back to normal soon.
So, we could make a move for a change of atmosphere.
Have a nice day!
Howdy Trudee! Wow, I didn't realize you were back to posting full time! This is a wonderful selection of shots!
I've backed way off from the platform and only on a couple hours a day at most.
I'm not back full time my friend, but will be balancing my time here and with my art. So what are you doing with your free time?
Well I don't have much free time because of all the projects we have going on with our property. With maintenance on the house and equipment like tractors, mowers, pool, fencing, landscaping, etc. We're also putting in two large patios and a bunch of other work so I'm super busy.
But to start making money I decided to start selling books on Amazon part time. I'll let you know how that goes.
I hope your art sells like crazy!
After reading what is on your agenda I have no difficulty believing that you don't end up with much free time Jon. Your projects sound very exciting. Are you selling your own books on Amazon? I hope you do very well with this.
My art was selling well before Christmas but things have slowed down considerably since the Corona virus, however the Art Gallery has just opened for 4 days a week so it will be great to see some more sales.
Thank you for your kind thoughts. 🌸 🌷 🌸
Howdy today Trudee! I'm so glad to hear about the gallery opening back up! They must be slowing getting back to normal there. I see good sales ahead!
No, I'm not selling my books, it's a program that allows you to sell books online without ever handling them.
Remarkable really. One of the few legitimate businesses online that anyone can start.
Check out the short video on this page which gives an excellent brief explanation:

I accept those prophetic words my friend. I sold a photo board yesterday and had two sales in my Vida store. Its a good feeling.
Thanks for sharing that link. I will take a look at that. 💐
Howdy today Trudee! Congratulations on the sales! See, the sales are starting their increase! lol. Pretty soon you'll be selling everything as soon as you post it!
