Happy 64th Birthday my dear friend. I think it is good that you are honest about your Steemit journey @keithboone and I’m sure we can all identify with your feelings. Time is a big factor for me too but I make it difficult for myself by taking too many images when trying to gather enough for a post and then forget how long it takes to edit, and prepare something of interest to go with the blog.
I really do enjoy random days away from the computer as I come back more energised after a break. And because the investment of time I put into Steemit is done with long term vision, I should probably take more time off than I do especially if I’m not having a healthy balance. That is something I need to work on for myself.
Be free to make choices that are right for you and your family. Your friends here will love to see your exceptional photography whenever the timing is right for you. You’ve built up a loyal following and your talent is appreciated by many.
I hope you had a wonderful day and indulged in something really decadent to celebrate your 64th birthday. 🎂
I want to thank you for all your support and encouragement, Trudee. You help to keep me somewhat level headed-ish... Yes, I do need to get away from the computer and look - I'm still not doing it. I'm supposed to be a photographer more than a blogger. Anyway, it's a brand new year, let's see where it takes us. Many people I speak to are expecting 2019 to be a good year! Let's hope so! Happy New Year my good friend!
Well my friend, if I have been able to give you any encouragement along the way then I am happy indeed. You have always been tremendously supportive of my work and it really does mean a lot to me.
Yes, many are expecting good results for 2019 and we couldn't be in a better place to receive great support for our art and photography than here. Enjoyment is the key ingredient and if that means taking well deserved and healthy breaks then that is what we must do. Every blog is one more blog closer to our goals. But there is no rule to say how often we invest with our time and talents. It's entirely an individual thing and we shouldn't put pressure on ourselves in reaching our goals.
I said in an earlier comment that I am focusing more on long term goals which is strange when I consider my age........(which exceeds your 64 years, young pup) but creativity keeps us young at heart. Photography is your main passion and for me I love art and enjoy being able to combine it with my photography.
May 2019 be one of your best years yet Keith. The year won't take care of itself......we must do our part by doing what is necessary to maintain or improve our health and to find the right balance that works for us as individuals.
Thank you! It's a little rough right now. Cathy is very sick and I've been trying hard to hold it together here.
Oh, I'm very sorry to hear that Keith. I hope Cathy will get better soon. Look after yourself too and rest when you can.
