1. Living in the tropics to the sub-tropics

Grasshoppers live in the tropics to the sub-tropics. Most are green, but some are brown and yellow. Grasshoppers are also known by the names of grasshoppers, congcorang, walang kekek, walang kadung, and jadadak. There are many species of locust grasshoppers. The species that most live in Indonesia is Hierodula vitrea.

2.The Grasshopper's Nest

3. Metamorphosis is not perfect

Like other insects, the worship mantis also morphed. The newly hatched egg is shaped like a small shrimp. They pierced the bottom of the ooteka and hung upside down on thin threads. His body is protected by a thin membrane. After a while, this thin membrane is torn apart. From there appeared grasshoppers that resembled adult grasshoppers. Metamorphosis of the worship mantis includes imperfect mammorphosis because of its shape as a child and adult almost the same. Distinguish the butterflies that initially form the caterpillar then become a cocoon.

4. Carnivore

Grasshopper is a carnivore. They eat other insects that are smaller in size. Adult grave worms eat so much every day that their body size is fast. They should replace their skin whenever their body grows larger. During his life the grasshopper can change the skin as much as 5 to 10 times depending on the species.

Despite having 2 pairs of wings, locusts are not a good pilot. Usually only male flying mantis. The pilgrims, whose size is larger, can not fly. His wings are used to frighten the enemy. When the wings are spread, the worship spider will look bigger and more vicious
