Oh boy, it was a long time ago (10 months to be exact) when I first introduced Estonian Steem Team here and wrote a post about it (you can find the post here).
That was the time when Estonians majorly discovered Steemit and were all hyped about it. We started off in Discord.ee's #steemit text channel, but since more and more people were interested in talking about Steemit specifically, it called for creating a new server only for Estonian Steemians. Sadly it seems the membercount stopped there. There weren't 100 esteemians back then and I think we are still somewhere around 70-80 users in our country. That's pretty low.
Since the Steem (and SBD) price drops many members have been quite inactive. Everyone used to post on Steemit pretty much daily, now you only see people doing weekly or even monthly posts. Luckily our Discord Server still lives and people try to keep up with eachother.
Logo revamp
Over time everyone of us have discovered other platforms beside Steemit as well and the topics have evolved from only Steemit to all of the blockchains. The main topic is still Steemit, but together we also learn about cryptocurrencies, trading, new dApps and everything related. This is where we thought maybe we shouldn't quite call our community the Steem Team anymore, but we haven't come up with a new name yet. We did change our logo though - to represent more of the blockchain system and combined Estonian flag colors with it.
Any ideas for the new name of the team? Estonian Blockchainsmokers? Lul...

Me, @frankk and @kristves created the @teamestonia account with the account creation funding from @furious-one. The idea of the account is to inform Estonians about Steemit and how to get started with it. All of the posts currently up on the account are created by @kristves with sweat, blood and tears. Thanks for the awesome work!
Other idea of the account was to start an Estonian curation guild at some point to reward quality posts made by the community, but us, Estonians, are still poor on the lands of Steemit. Our richest member has 20K Steem Power, followed by the user holding 8K Steem Power and the lower it goes. Luckily, the member holding 20K has been curating users so far from his own account. Big up to @nrg.
But it would definitely be amazing to somehow have enough of power on that account to motivate Estonians to be active on the platform again.^^ @ned, care to loan sum SP? (jk)
