A hacker has supposedly stolen $7.4 million of ether (the cash utilized on the Ethereum blockchain) by deceiving ConDash's ICO financial specialists to send their cryptographic money to the wrong address.

An Initial Coin Offering (ICO) is utilized by organizations to raise cash by pitching a rate of a digital currency to early patrons of their venture.

"It is terrible for us to report that we have endured a hacking assault amid our Token Sale occasion," CoinDash said.

The CoinDash Token Sale secured $6.4 million from its initial givers and whitelist members.

CoinDash included that patrons who sent ETH to the deceitful Ethereum address, which was perniciously put on its site, will get their tokens appropriately.

"Exchanges sent to any false address after our site was closed down won't be adjusted," the organization said.

CoinDash cautioned that they were still under assault, and prompted clients to not send any ETH to any address, as the token deal has been ended.
