Ethereum Foundation announced through the voice of Vitalik Buterin that it's offering subsidy programs for independent developers that want to work on Ethereum's scalling issues. Each grant will range from $50,000 to $1 million.
The scaling problems are making Ethereum users and supporters to actually ask and debate such issues:
While Ethereum is struggling with it's network congestion, running many times at 100% of it's capacity, Steem and BitShares has no issues with the same number of transactions per day or even more.
Oh, and le's not forget that EOS is coming in six months time with it's theoretical infinite scaling capability.
Hard times ahead for Ethereum and Vitalik. :-)
