Hello Followers!

This is Andrius with BitDegree’s weekly roundup!

As always, I’m happy to say that BitDegree team had another productive week.

Firstly, the trip to the Netherlands from the last week had an amazing outcome and Maurice de Hond, founder of Steve JobsSchool joined the BitDegree team as an advisor in the education field. That’s a huge addition to the BitDegree project that ensures the usage of innovative learning models. Check the interview with him on our blog.

Another great news that you may have already heard is BitDegree became member of the Bitcoin Foundation and Enterprise Ethereum Alliance. This ensures that we’ll always stay up to date with blockchain and will use only the best practices. Also, this is our pledge to you, our community, that we’re transparent.

Also, we had a very meaningful meeting with a real expert of gamification James Scarborough, the PhD. candidate at Stanford University. For those who don’t know, James worked with companies behind world famous games such as Tetris and Civilization and today is focused on gamification processes. His study is oriented to gamified experiences at classrooms, workplaces, and similar environments.

One more announcement for today — the Ethereum Blockchain Emulator is live! Go to solidity.bitdegree.org and test it yourself. The interface is so simple that anyone who has at least a basic understanding about Solidity will love testing Smart contracts in real environment. For those who aren’t familiar with Solidity, don’t worry, the learning material is on the way! Also, we really appreciate some feedback on Telegram to know about your experience, what we could do better.
