Hello guys,
Ethereum’s definitely not dying. It’s had some growing pains but the Ethereum Foundation is already working on solutions to the scaling issues we’ve seen this week. Google ‘Metropolis update’ and ‘sharding’.
Part of the problem is that ICOs like Status.im has put pressure on the network. If they were better run, the Ethereum network would work just fine.
In any case, the price movement of Ethereum can’t be compared to the stock market; cryptocurrencies are a unique asset class that is more volatile in nature and experiences exponential growth, unlike traditional stocks.
The future for Ethereum looks bright: it is building a new and better infrastructure for the internet and its true value is much greater than its current valuation. I would expect at least 500 USD by the end of the year, and 1k within 2–3 years. This might turn out to be a conservative prediction.
Best,
@bolchek
"The future for Ethereum looks bright" - Looks like this mining fever will not come to it's end any time soon.
Eth is not dying, but it has lots of work to do. Im kinda relieved that they not just run over btc an have to go through some work.
Yes, I'm agreed with you.
I did a post like this pretty recently and I totally agree with bolchek. Ethereum is having a rough week but like all the crashes in the past it will bounce back... So what should you the buyer/investor do? Its pretty cheap now buy it and hold it! Remember it was around 400 just 2 weeks ago and the weekend is coming!
Maybe time to find alternative to ETH :)
