Ethereum is on fire in Asia , South Korea is very high on it. Overall, it seems to be gaining tremendous traction for a product not "primetime" yet.
lots of speculation and hype. esepcially in asian countries where its hard to move currency in and out of the country.
the part that I see that is more than hype to me is the Ethereum Alliance of major partners ...they are not in it for the money ...but a way of doing business and saving money. Even Fidelity CEO is into it.

time will tell....but it seems like it has "first mover advantage" or maybe I am not smart enough to know of another like it or coming up strong --- Monero looks very strong for security.
this is big - domino effect in the works with these countries backing what their already using with eth.
This is huge! What a way to modernise a system - start with the currency. They will realise benefits rather quickly and that will encourage other countries to do the same. You're right, Eth will benefit hugely as well. R&D cannot be done within the banking system as easily as it can on the public blockchain. Anyone wanting to get a piece of the massive move will be doing development and testing on the public Eth blockchain. We're on a wave of adoption and it keeps growing.
