Russia's biggest flight is currently issuing passenger seat tickets over a blockchain with support from the country's most significant private bank.
According to an area record by the mass media electric outlet Kommersant, the flight S7 and its own ticketing agent S7 Solution reportedly commenced the sales on the ethereum blockchain this week. Loaning support is Alfa-Bank, Russia's biggest private bank institution.
The report records that the program was created to reduce negotiation times between between your flight and the agent, which today take around fourteen days. It further aims to streamline the repayment process by deducting the agent percentage automatically after solution sales to reveal the ultimate receipt.
The collaboration is seen as an early on attempt on the market to utilize ethereum technology in simplifying the air travel ticketing process, though it has long been advised just as one blockchain use circumstance. The report will not specify if the platform is made on an exclusive or open public version of ethereum. Recently, S7 Airlines and Alfa-Bank were reported to be discovering the utilization of smart agreements in tracking words of credit.
