Not really.. while bitcoin has been making headlines the last few years recent news looks to make ethereum one of the most valuable blockchains. Over 30 companies some competitors funded a project looking at how to use ethereum a block chain for their use. With the awareness crypto has had from its trail blazing big bro bit coin ethereums recent news makes me wonder if it may be the most valuable crypto currency in the near future.
I'm not sure how Ethereum can gain the kind of value Bitcoin has with its lack of a solid economic policy, inflationary nature, and history of instamines. Its intrinsic value of being a turing complete scripting blockchain can and has been cloned (ETC, EXP, etc.).
Sorry but I can't keep from laughing. Bitcoin r did a good job spreading mis-information around about ETH.
I haven't kept up with it but that's pretty much how Ethereum was for the first year.
