The Monetary Authority of Singapore (Singapore's Central Bank) is in the process of tokenizing the Singapore Dollar through the Ethereum blockchain.
And the race is on between the Central Bank of Singapore, England, Russia and China to digitize their currencies through the blockchain!
This is great news for the crypto space, especially for Ethereum as Singapore endorses the Ethereum blockchain! Exciting times are ahead of us!
"The future is here. So say a report by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), which in collaboration with a number of banks and blockchain technology firms recently announced that phase one of tokenizing Singaporean Dollars through an ethereum blockchain has successfully completed."
