Ether's creator Vitalik Buterin has recently revealed in an official blog post that the corporation plans to scale the network to accommodate the increasing number of transactions. He highlighted that scaling the network was "the single most important key technical challenge" and in order to incentivize developers the corporation would offer research grants to cover development costs.
According to the blog post, the research grants for each program will range from $50,000 to $1 million and it will also provide developers an opportunity to play a part in implementing the protocol's on ethereum's mainnet in the scaling phase.
Buterin further added that, "Independent teams of developers, companies and university and academic groups are all welcome to apply; we recognize that different types of applicants may require different formats and processes and we are willing to be flexible to accommodate individual teams' needs."
But I thought, the ethereum cofounder already started Cardano (ADA) completely with the help of research scientists to keep optimizing it and making it better. Then why does Ethereum foundation need to give grant to them? They would already be having ADA as currencies, right?
i hope that.
Buterin's intended motive will play an effective role
