Incredible that Gdax posted on their blog that they would repay customers who had a stop loss during last week's crash.
They also confirmed that they would honour the buy orders that where in place at the time.
In my personal opinion this is a mistake. Good traders have stop losses to protect themselves. We also recognise that there is risk involved. If you are going to trade in anything you have to accept that there are risks. 
Alright fair approach, reminds me of the big bitfinex scandal. Who wouldve thought they would come back.

I guess a bunch of people have come out very lucky from this one. I wonder what their total payouts were for this.
