ETC vs ETH - The Race to the Top
As a cryptocurrencies enthusiast, it quite exciting to see the growing battle between the ethereums - Eth vs ETC. Right now ETC is walking like a champion and my money is on the Ethereum Classic to overtake Eth to become the champion. Many may say it's just a phase, but I see the new boy with a spring in it stride and punching well above its weight, soon to deliver the knockout blow.
Are we seeking the demise of Bitcoin
The new boy might even contemplating challenging the crypto king BTC. Over the last week or so we see bitcoin price fell from an high of $670 to a value of $548 at this minute, this is approximately $122, that is a drop of approximately 18%, and this is a significant fall, hence the question, as bitcoin reaches its peek and the downward track.
Are we seeing the demise of the King?
The continuous Rise of Ethereum Classic
At the same time Ethereum Classic is the talk of the town on its upward journey and seems to be unstoppable at this moment. We have seen a rapid movement in just one day ethereum classic as moved from a value of 0.0034 btc, up to 0.0056 btc, that is an increase of a third of its size since yesterday. While Ethereum classic (ETC) continue to rise, the value of ethereum (ETH) continue falling.
The battle of the ethereums will continue to take centre stage and there is a strong feeling that ethereum classic will end up being the champion.
The prediction is that ethereum will continue to rise and may as it receive more and more backing by very wealthy and powerful people such as Barry Silbert the Founder & CEO of Digital Currency Group, a company that is helping to build the foundation of the digital currency and blockchain technology. We seen now that apart from Poloniex, Classic is now supported by BitMex and Shapeshift,
The other big chat is that the Chinese is not interested in bitcoin right now, so they are now buying up ethereum classic. It must be note that one of China’s largest ethereum exchange, now list Ethereum Classic as a response to the rising demand of the coin and a complete u-turn to what they stated last week, and that is they would not be supporting ethereum class.
Short dumb question: Your prediction that ETC will overtake is based on which information or is it just a feeling? Why do people care so much about a fork...For me ETC is just the dumbest thing ever rewarding the Dao hacker with some additional millions...I see no sense in buying ETC (just my opinion :) )
Thx a lof for the information
