do you think my bitcoin is in danger of being lost if I leave it at coinbase . I really don't want to deal with moving it but I don't want to lose it either . Could this (UASF) and bip-148 really cause everyone who leaves Bitcoin on coinbase to lose their Bitcoin ? I would like to know your opinion .

I think it's unlikely that you will lose your money if you leave your BTC on Coinbase. However, as a precaution I would recommend that you move it into a wallet that you control.
The easiest way to do this is to get the Jaxx wallet. Once you have installed it on your computer or your phone just make sure you back it up.
