They’re both good to hold, ETH and ETC, and I would also say ETH is not very expensive quite yet.
Being ETH is still essentially the king OG of blockchain platforms I can see it running up
into the thousands, but could be wrong.

It all depends on the governance structure. I support the ability to correct mistakes when general purpose software is what we are talking about. A computer cannot function without the ability to halt run away applications. I think they need to implement it in a way which multiple people have some say in it.
In the United States the Constitution can be amended and has in the past. Imagine what this country would be if it were impossible to change it?
