Is that even possible? In theory yes. Since Erc20 tokens can be traded against more than Ethereum and attract a wide variety of investors some of whom are not traditionally in the crypto space. Take Civic for example. It trades against Bitcoin and Ethereum on Bittrex now and may be on more exchanges soon. It has pulled a large amount of talent toward it in a short amount of time. The money follows the innovation.
CVC doesn't even plan to remain on the Ethereum blockchain forever. It plans to migrate to Rootstock when that makes sense to do. It is a nearly blockchain agnostic set of rules. Lines of code. Backed by a real company with major players from all over the Venture Capitalist and Virtual Currency sectors. We are not just buying a token on Ethereum we are buying a tool, that can be used in a app that solves big problems in Identity Protection. A tool that can be ported to whatever is the most sensible smart contract ready blockchain.
It is too early in the game to predict what will happen but the possibilities are endless and as we all know by now, anything is possible in the crypto universe. CVC will have to do extremely well to surpass Ethereum on coinmarketcap though. Let see what happens!
CVC is super cool - raised 33 mil with no advtsng. It will be a solid investment but not sure if it will surpass ETH anytime soon!
