The best Ethereum Wallets to safely store your Ethereum

The Mining Rig is standing, a pool is selected - but what's missing is a safe and comfortable Ethereum Wallet for you. Here I would like to introduce you to some Ethereum Wallets in which you can save your ETH / Ethereum Coins.

Hardware Wallets - The safest way to confuse cryptocurrencies.

If you really want to keep your cryptos safe and you do not really understand much about IT security, then I definitely recommend you to use a hardware wallet. Unfortunately, these hardware wallets are not free and cost between 100 and 140 euros.
It is important to make sure that you buy these wallets directly from the manufacturer to not be a victim of a fake.
The best-known hardware wallets here are the Ledger Nano S and the TREZOR Wallet.
Personally, I use the Ledger Nano S but also the TREZOR is very safe in the crypto scene.
The cool thing about these wallets: you can not only store Ethereum on it but also many other cryptocurrencies. Just take a look at the website of the two manufacturers.

Exodus Wallet - The Desktop Wallet

If you like to mess up your cryptos on the computer since you are in good hands with the Exodus Wallet.

Exodus is a Bitcoin / Altcoin Wallet with a very elegant user interface and intuitive operation.

Exodus offers a lot of different crypto currencies and you can see it's beautiful portfolio of Coins that support Exodus.

For Krypto Noobs certainly a good choice because this wallet is free and intuitive to use.

ETHAdress - The Paper Wallet / COLD Wallet

With ETHAdress you are in good hands if you want to physically store your Ethereum riches. You can simply print out a piece of paper on which a QR code and your keys are stored. I recommend to each of you to keep this data safe as anyone with this piece of paper can access your Ethereum deposited at this address.

And again: DO NOT PARTICIPATE with your Private Keys.

ETHAdress is a relatively secure way to store your Ethereum. However, only Ethereum can be stored here and having to enter his private key manually is not really user-friendly either. Because if you want to send your coins to someone you have to import these private keys first into another wallet software.

MyEthereumWallet (MEW) - An Ethereum Wallet Web Interface

MyEtherWallet is a website that allows you to create Ethereum Wallets and from there to send and receive Ethereum without the provider having control over your Private Keys. If you are on the site you have the option to decide if you want to generate a wallet or if you want to send or receive Ethereum.

When you create a wallet, the site will create a public-private key pair protected by a password you enter. Then you get a file for download which includes your key pair.

If you want to access your Ethereum in the future, all you have to do is upload this file and enter your password, and you'll be able to access your Ethereum.

You can send your coins directly through the website or use hardware wallets like TREZOR or the Ledger Nano S.

The code of the whole page is open source so you are relatively safe with this service.

Is gillt to note, however, that one is really on the real page, since there are a lot of scammers are the pages that look exactly like MyEtherWallet to get to your private keys. So gillt: Always look exactly if you are REALLY on the domain of MyEtherWallet.

Conclusion:

There are many different ways to save Ethereum and cryptocurrencies.

Maybe you should first start with a desktop wallet like Exodus and slowly guess at the matter so you understand what private keys and public keys are.

If you are already a bit more experienced, you can also store your coins in the Paperwallet or play it safe and get a Ledger Nano S or TREZOR if you're ready to spend a little money on it.
