RE: Ethereum Civil War, ICO Fail Rate, Bank of America

Thanks for your videos Ivan! You're doing more than excellent work for the betterment of entire crypto community.

It's actually surprising that the failure rate is 46% for ICOs given that even Vitalik seems to think that 90% ICOs are headed towards failure. And I say that as an investor in some of the ICOs.

More surprising that this rate of failure is actually less than the startup failures! Dare I say it's actually encouraging. I do believe in fail early - fail often. Maybe this is the painful process through which investors will learn to invest better, ICOs being scams or not.

I follow a practice of only investing from my altcoin profits into ICOs. And I choose them to the maximum care possible to reduce my chances of any real losses.

It's important to keep in mind that right now getting into cryptocurrency itself is much like venture investing, let alone ICOs. So it's not without reason that the often repeated piece of advice: Only invest what you're willing to lose. And remember to take out profits. There's nothing wrong in protective measures. We owe it to ourselves to learn to differentiate between gambling and investing.
