In spite of really appreciating @pauls work (see https://steemit.com/ethereum/@pauls/ethereum-fork-step-by-step-guide-to-safely-splitting-your-eth-etc) I noticed a serious bug.
Ether sent to this contract should be split into ETH and ETC but all transfers to the ETC-Address has not been working.
Check https://etherscan.io/address/0xaa1a6e3e6ef20068f7f8d8c835d2d22fd5116444 and compare to http://gastracker.io/addr/0xaa1a6e3e6ef20068f7f8d8c835d2d22fd5116444 to convince yourself.

That post is to technical for me. Good news is that I didn't have any ETH on Poloniex at that time!
