A security is a tradable financial asset, let's say for argument's sake that Ethereum is considered a security. How would the SEC be able to regulate the nodes, developers, blockchain, and the Ethereum foundation? Cryptocurrencies scare the hell out of the banks and government regulators, now they are looking into how they can control this relatively new asset class. HODL is right!
