Why Samsung has joined the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance |My opinion

in #ethereum8 years ago

Samsung has been working to be bigger than it is in a near future, and the future is here with the Internet of Things (IoT) . If you are in Steemit you have probably heard about many blockchain applications and solutions: money, Decentralized Autonomous Organisations, smart contracts, fast money transfer and also a social media platform that pays you for creating quality content...

Many people have already talked about implementing the technology to make more secure a future where the autonomous cars will be a reality and lots of ethical and security problems were very catastrophic events could happen if someone hacks an autonomous car or uses the smart city interconnection to make something malicious. For me, this and the ethical and legal problems are the things we have to solve before believing in a future where no one has to drive.

Samsung Artik is the platform to:"build IoT products and services that are secure, can interact with other devices and services and are able to participate in intelligent experiences". Since one of the main reasons for developers to join this platform is that it allows them to focus more on their product than in the infrastructure used and they believe in a big company such as Samsung who is already focused in this. Hence one of the main objectives of joining the EEA will be to improve the security of all their infrastructure making them the leader in the IoT sector. I think it is a really good movement because will also allow lots of 3rd party applications and devices to be connected "securely" with Samsung Artik products.

IoT is here to make our lives easier but we have to work hard because it has to be secure and worth. We already have one of the solutions: blockchain technology.
