It looks like we are reaching a stage of probing and trying. This will be the time that a lot of capital and words are spent and ego's are born and shattered, resulting in a few blockchain solutions providing real world utility and thus surviving this crazy current stage.
I hope Bitcoin will be one of them.
It's anyone's guess at this point. There seems to be new solutions and currencies emerging everyday.
