as we kick off the new year 2025, we’ve taken a moment to reflect on the feedback from our recent Airdrop to Hive & Splinterlands Stakeholders.
A couple of points stood out in the feedback we received:
- Some participants felt the airdrop wasn’t truly "free" due to the gas fees.
- The minimum purchase requirement of 1000 Credits within the shop (i.e. for lucky potions) was seen as a hurdle—an unintended oversight on our part.
To address these concerns and enhance your experience, we’ve implemented the following changes:
1. Free Credits for Airdrop Recipients
Airdrop recipients now receive 10 Free Credits, enough to cover 10 sponsored transactions.
2. Lowered Minimum Purchase Amount
The minimum Credits spending amount within the shop has been reduced from 1000 Credits to 100 Credits, making it more accessible for everyone. Keep in mind that the minimum payment amount to purchase Credits via crypto-currencies is still $1.
3. Bonus Credits for Loyal Purchasers
As a token of our appreciation, everyone who purchased at least 1000 Credits since December 18, 2024, has been rewarded with an extra 1000 Credits.
