To be a decent human being you have to be polite & tolerant and have good manners and respect. Sometimes (rarely) I fail and feel bad for it (well, you can't always be "the best", too many reasons). Even if someone is rude, I try to be lenient and considerate, but sometimes I really can't help myself. But many people don't care so much. They say or do things, bad things, and it looks like they don't even ask themselves if that was wrong, what they did. They just act like nothing has happened. Some don't have any manners at all. It bothers me. We can say to those people, what is wrong, but it's really up to them if they will truly appreciate your comment or give you a bad look instead or become even more rude.
