PALM OIL;
The nuts are used to make palm oil which can be extracted from the pulp of the fruit.the color of the oil is bright red.For every 100kg of fruit bunches,22kg of palm oil and 1.6kg of palm kernel oil can be extracted.It is a common cooking ingredient in South East Asia and Africa.Palm oil is the 2nd most widely used oil in the world after soy bean oil.It has been a part of the human diet for over 5,000 years. PALM KERNEL OIL;
The kernels of the but is used to produce palm kernel oil (kernel pomade).This is the second type of oil palm produces.The palm but must be cracked open to get the kernel,after which the kernels are pressed to release their precious liquid.The dark residues from the palm kernel after collecting the oil is used for healing wounds and also used for nutritious livestock feed.
