My evergreen playlist track for today is by the Commodores and American Funk/Soul band that had Lionel Richie as it's co-lead singer and it is titled Easy, which was released in 1977 and went on to reach #1 on the Billboard R&B chart, and #4 on the Billboard Hot 100.

I love the song easy because of it's soulful ballad and the psychedelic guitar solo that just makes you pretend to be holding an actual guitar in your hands as you listen. Lionel Richie is known for his excellent song writing skills and he did not disappoint with this one.

I think life should be easy like Sunday morning and it should feel that way. We should be able to enjoy life as we wake up turning the pages. It is a beautiful life we live in and when we understand that it is up to us to make things count positively for us, we will end up screaming at the top of our voice that Life is Easy.

I don't know about you, but I think the 70s, 80s and early 90s kinda made life easy like Sunday morning. Those decades held a special place in our lives as we were still living in an understanding that, life is easy and like Sunday mornings, we always get the best smiles while putting on our best clothes, drinking the best wines and eating Sunday prepared Rice and Chicken stew. What about those lovely barbecues and the moment where we spend the rest of the day listening to tales by moonlight?

Well, those days were as Easy as Sunday morning!
