RE: Evolution: a theory in crisis

in #evolution7 years ago

It seems as if evolution has completely infiltrated all of science. The bias towards evolution is extremely obvious.

The bias is not towards evolution, but towards scientific theory that is supported by fact. Intelligent design has no data to support it. You also haven't presented any in your post.

Today, evolutionists cannot come up with a single test that proves it exists.

Really? I think you might turn out to be the one in denial in the end.

We is constantly sequencing more and more genomes and the only thing that's happening is proof of gradual changes and common ancestry keeps piling up. Genes are traceable.

The fossil record is quite rich in transitional species of all sorts and kinds. As a How do you explain them? They were put in there by Satan?

Genetic and fossil evidence fit each other.

Bacterial evolution is fast enough for us to be witnessing it in the lab. You can check the Lenski E. coli experiment, it has nothing to do with dogs ;) Viruses are another example.

But there are other cases when we can see evolution in action. You can read up on the Apple Maggot Flies that evolved in the 1900s from the Hawthorn Flies. Both species still exist now in North America and are separate and do not interbreed. There was one species, but when apples were introduced some of the flies adapted to them and are not a new species that lives alongside the species is evolved form - there was no separation between the populations. You can also check out three-toed skinks that are basically in the middle of evolving live birth with part of the population doing it and the other half laying eggs.

What data is intelligent design based on?

If we evolved from apes, why do they still exist today?

We didn't evolve from present day apes. We have a common ancestor.

Who PUT the rules in places for the universe to operate within.

What evidence do you have for somebody doing that?

They are blind because they are keeping a theory alive based on centuries-old evidence.

What an ignorant statement. We are constantly discovering more and more proof. Every genome we sequence confirms evolution. The fact that you don't feel like looking at evidence is your personal problem.

If one is to believe that the law of conservation of matter is true

No such law. We know very well matter can be transformed into energy...

what they should be doing is compiling the evidence and looking at it and asking the right questions.

The evidence is available. What are the right questions and how do they comply with the evidence in your opinion then?

Because based on the 2nd law of thermodynamics, everything in the universe is going towards decay….rendering evolution false immediately.

The law applies to closed systems. The Earth is not a closed system as there is incoming energy from the Sun. You realize all life is fueled directly or indirectly by the energy from the Sun. No violation of the 2nd law of thermodynamics...

So it takes as much faith to believe in the big bang theory

How do you even begin talking about evolution when you can't distinguish it from the big bang theory?!

Believing in god takes faith because there is no evidence to prove god's existence. Noticing that the evidence we have amassed supports evolution does not require any faith at all.

God…who is EVERYTHING and CREATED everything in its perfect working order…who ALWAYS existed, and HAD to have (therefore obeying the law of conservation of matter)…and the proof of his creation is seen in the complexity of the cell, atoms, DNA, and bacteria.

No, you are mistaken. It was magic. Magic ALWAYS existed and HAD to have... and the complexity of everything is proof that it's magical...

Our God is simply amazing.

Nope. Magic is amazing. Any contradiction in the world can be solved with magic therefore magic is real.

I am very sorry that you have been affected by the mental disorder of delusion and denial. But then again, that's probably what you think of me as well. Someday, we shall all find out. Thanks for taking the time to make a detailed reply.

No, I don't need to convince myself that the people disagreeing with me have a mental disorder to justify my point of view.

We've already found out quite a lot but sometimes people are blinded by fairytales they prefer believing in...
