HIVE is only two days live and there is already exchanges supporting HIVE trading and listings. Even more exchanges have supported the airdrop and most probably some of them will list HIVE in the future. HIVE and STEEM are now in a sort of battle and price is very important. Its like BTC vs BCH. In our case HIVE is BTC 😊.
At the moment of writing this post HIVE is listed on five exchanges:
- Bittrex
- Ionomy
- Probit
- Blocktrades
- Steem Engine
Out of these five exchanges at the moment trading is live on Bittrex, Ionomy and Steem Engine. Not sure about Probit, and Blocktrades has instant exchange, swap, and is under maintenance at the moment.
Bittrex doesn’t have deposit and withdrawal available at the moment for both HIVE and STEEM.
Apart from the listings on the exchanges above here are the exchanges that supported the HIVE HardFork and will airdrop HIVE tokens to the STEEM holders:
- Binance
- Huobi
- Bithumb
- GOPAX
- Probit
- KuCoin?
That is 6 more exchanges. Maybe I have missed some as well. KuCoin has mentioned listings for HIVE, and I think STEEM hasn’t been listed there at all in the first place, meaning no airdrop.
Listing on exchanges is important and we can all help a bit, giving them a little push on Twitter 😊.
Price
As already mentioned, price is important. Everyone wants their assets to have value. Today HIVE was trading just above STEEM on Bittrex. But as mentioned deposits and withdrawals are not open yet, and when that happens we will see some volatility probably.
What can the community do to help the HIVE price?
Having this in mind that HIVE is now a community driven project every member of the community can do something about it. The obvious answer will be to buy some HIVE 😊. But we can be a bit more creative than that.
All the HIVE holders have STEEM as well. It’s totally up to everyone choice what to do with their own holdings, but if we are really for the community here anti centralization, anti-censorship and all that hive is much more suited for that. Not ideal though, don’t look for ideal things 😊.
This is what I will do
I have already put some buying orders on Bittrex with some small amount of STEEM that was sold for ridiculous high price of 6000 stats during the pump.
I have already hit the powerdown button on STEEM and the first STEEM will arrive in 6 days. At the moment I don’t know will I sell all of my STEEM, but for sure I will sell the major part of it with time. I’m planning to buy some HIVE with the first liquid STEEM and making a HIVE giveaway for everyone that buys some HIVE. For example, if you buy 500 HIVE, I will tip you 50 more etc. It will be a 10% promotion. Of course, it will be a limited amount for limited number of users. If a lot of users do this it should be fun 😊.
All the best
@dalz
May I suggest an edit, that you'll be tipping people who power up that HIVE!
Very generous offer. You must have gone mad at that 6K sats sell, good hit that!
It's going to get interesting with the price swings!
I guess the strategy is put in some crazy limits and just get back to IRL and hope for the best!
He ... I'm just a small dolphin.
I didn't made some large selling at 6k sats.
Hope to inspires some big fishes around with this :)
Good idea about the powering up, accepted.
I think patience is going to be the key with trading these swings... every single person is going to be hoping to make a killing!
I just sold all my SteemP and bought HiveP on Steem Engine
Buy buy steemp then :)
That could be a good idea indeed.
Thanks. It may be.
Thank you, I am working over the next few days on redoing our websites and selling platforms so the merchants around the World we deal with can pay us in Hive.As well as do some promotions, Positive vibes and much Aloha from Waikiki, Rich. Let's remember the glass can be considered half empty or half full. Let's support each other.
