I just finished a 4.704km run that lasted about 0hh:25mm:45ss !

Solo run this afternoon. Was getting fidgety at my desk, and everyone else went out for lunch. I decided recently that I'm going to try to get back into a practice of fasting on Wednesdays -- so I was running on a moderately empty tank today, and it felt great. I've been ramping up with my exercise, and I've been packing on some weight as well. Probably some combination of building a bit of muscle (spending some time at the climbing gym again, and spinning on the trainer at home) and working up an appetite and stuffing my face -- probably that latter more than the former.
Regardless -- I'm feeling pretty good these days. Average pace of 5'28" for this run is pretty good, I feel -- and that's with some walking breaks in there to recover from the faster segments. Aiming to get as close to an average 5'00"/km pace for my 10k race at the end of April. Just gotta stay disciplined.

Nice man! Could never fast for a day, love food too much
Ahaha yeah I hear you there. Fasting is actually surprisingly easier than I thought it would be -- and it actually kind of makes me appreciate food a bit more. Especially with the increased exercise I've been doing recently, it makes me put a bit more thought into what I'm eating; Plus I enjoy it a bit more because I start to feel actually hungry, rather than just eating because I'm bored or snacky.
