Quite often when I have posted runs recently @bozz has been saying they have lots of snow up his way. Well we finally got our allocation of snow for this winter today. He would not have been impressed. It was snowing when I left home and I got covered as I walked to the station. It kept going for most of the morning and some cars were getting a coating even if the roads stayed clear. By the time I went for my run it had stopped as was already melting. All I saw were little bits on cars and the grass.

It was still pretty cold though and it took a while to warm up. I was doing my long intervals routine where I attempt to sprint for six minutes at a time. The first one was pretty good as I kept under 5min/km. The others were a little slower.

I had time for a few reps on the outdoor gym. I rarely see anyone else using it. I only saw a few runners out and it was less busy at the changing rooms than on Tuesday.

I am not sure if I will be doing parkrun this weekend. I am still coughing at times, but it seems I still have some fitness.

Sadly, this Winter has been pretty weird in terms of snow. At least where I live. North of us they are getting hit pretty hard and they just had a big storm move through to the South of us. Something about our geographic location has the fronts going around us more than through us this year. It has led to some disappointing snow totals!

Snow just causes chaos for us as we can't cope. There have been bad floods around the country. Just cold and wet for us today.

You have uploaded 98 running activities, and 29 of them have been of similar distances (within 10 percent)!
Here are your 5-fastest running activities of a similar distance:

Over these 29 similar activities, you have travelled approximately 196.33 kms at an average pace of roughly 5:56 min/km!
Your latest run was at a pace of approximately 5.689min/km!
Looks like you went a bit faster than usual this time! Nice work!
Have a !BEER for your troubles!

@steevc I think you´re in good conditions. It´s been more than fifteen years that I run regularly, and I don´t really remember, but I think that it took me more than 6 minutes to run 1 km back then. Keep at it!

I've definitely improved in the last few years since I started running in my late 40s. I have an ambition to run 5km in under 25 minutes and I have got close to that on parkrun. When I get over this cold I will try it again.

Well, you don´t look like you´re near or past the 5.0 mark - me neither, I´ve been told, but the years are there, haha -. As I said, keep at it!
