I used to be very inquistive as a child. one christmas eve, the knock out and bangers that night was so scary i started shivering indoors. Mum and Dad warned us not to live the compound as they didn't want us to get injured. That is how my mind talked me to go outside oh.i was finding what was making that kind of noise at the middle of the night that did not make us to sleep.

My younger brother saw the pieces of those bangers in front of our house. We started arguing saying it was cigarette, my brother said it was banger, i dont know that my vilage people were ready for me, that was how we carried our self outside to met one woman selling akara in the morning on christmas day.
She was surprise to see us outside thinking we came to buy akara that was how i bent down to take fire with broom, it was difficult to lite the banger with a broom stick but we eventually did.
So i put the banger in my mouth to show my brother that it was cigarette. ( i was also trying to mimic a neighbour who was a chain smoker) hmmmmmmm you won't believe wat happen, that was how the thing exploded inside my mouth. My mouth scatter........... I did my christmas in the hospital that year..... Chai that was how i miss all the christmas and new year chicken oh. Till date, the sound of it still scares me.
