My vlog is stuck at the moment so I thought I type up this post while it's being sorted.

I just got back from the gym.

I keep track of the power-ups and we are approaching 200 million vested STEEM again.

That's been a while!

Yesterday the guys from the SCT community did a huge powerup under their sct.wallet account.

It's good to see the powerups stats going up every time I look even with accounts powering down.

Other News.

Typerium

One day after the hard fork we will finally know what Typerium will be about and how Steem ties into it.

The clocks ticking....they have been hyping this for months. I'm hoping that it will be some sort of protection for content creators.

Typerium is needed to protect the intellectual property of content creators, to facilitate a cost-effective and global creative currency, and to create a thriving decentralized marketplace for buying and selling digital content.

The dream would be of course that all content created on Steem will be protected. Based on the timestamp of the blocks. That would be huge. But I'm not sure if that will be the case.

Something to keep an eye on though!

Actifit tokens

I bought a bunch of AFIT tokens weeks ago as you might remember. I did the calculations and bought 2 years of the #1 actifit person (40k steps a day) equivalent.

It was about $60 for a lot of tokens.

I calculated that for $60 I could buy 40 consultant lessons (1 consult = 3800 AFIT) with a trainer. That felt like a decent deal.

In the Netherlands, I can probably buy 1 consultant lesson for that price.

The tokens have already gone up 3x since I acquired them.

And just like with Steem, with more people joining actifit earning those tokens will be harder and harder.

I'm happy with that investment so far. I'll sit on those tokens for a while.

Splinterlands

It's currently being featured but:

It turns out that the Splinterlands community, you the players, have collectively completed over 1,700,000 card transactions for more than 1,000,000.00 USD with each other!!!

That's amazing. What a result for that great app on our blockchain.

I'm still using the Heron's Unlimited service to rent out my deck to a player and we share everything 50/50.

I forgot to share it on my blog but with the season end I woke up to 31k DEC ($26) and 5 Beta packs ($10) in my wallet because my player reached the top 50 last season.

$36 passive income in one day! Wow!

And every day DEC arrives in my SE wallet. It's a great deal for my player and myself.

I'm very happy with the service!

That's it, hope the vlog will come out later today.

We just passed $50K won in tournaments, too.
Now is a fantastic time to get a finger in a heap of pies. Anything that's survived or flourished over the last 18 months probably has a bright future.

Wow! we did! Thanks for letting us know!

Wow, that is pretty awesome returns you are getting on your stuff there. I had never heard of the Typerium thing so I am going to have to check that out and I eagerly await the news on it. Thanks for sharing all of this.

What is the herons unlimited dervice??

I have pretty much a second deck that I could lease out as it is sitting there doing nothing for now. I don't want to sell and they're around level 5 for most cards.

@tcpolymath can hook you up! He connects players to deck holders through his service.

Sound. I'll look into it.

The Koreans to the rescue :)

Also have you seen the RoR game ... looks like a massive project but not a lot of info out there.

I have seen it, but can't figure it out yet!

Good news all a round. I am really getting into @steemmonsters myself. anyway thanks for the run down. and congrats on your investments.

Splinterlands is a great game! I'm hoping to have more time to play in the future.

I will have to put Typerium on my watchlist, thanks for sharing and will continue to buy steem on the way down.

You people are amazing lot, living by the Steem, living for the steem. It is always great to hear such news.

Let's hope for the best, Cheers
