I used to love this game when I was a kid. Played it all the time.
I would say around 1988/89 on the Sega Megadrive at a friends house - top game!
Of course.... Nerds win. :)

Yeah, it must've been 1995 or 96, around that time. I'm 32 now. I still don't know what the game was, but after watching some gameplay videos for Big Red Racing on youtube, it definitely wasn't that. The cars were way floatier, like every little bump made the car bounce around a bit. At least that's how I remember it, not sure if it was really like that or if it's how my little child brain wanted to memorize it. :P

Actually, it was only in the US that it was called Genesis.
